To say that last week was extremely busy would be an understatement. After working 9 hours at Wee Care, I headed over to our church, First Baptist, where I was heading up songs/choreography for our Vacation Bible School. And let me tell you, those 6 songs were high energy! So, although I absolutely adored teaching over 60 children a new song with choreography every day plus our theme song, by the time 8:45 rolled around I was definitely ready for a good nights sleep!

By Friday, the night of their closing performance, the kids had exceeded all of my expectations (not that I was expecting them to do anything more than their best). They sang their hearts out, singing so loud that you couldn’t hear the vocals from the CD, and they remembered all of the choreography perfectly. It was incredibly impressive, especially since it took me almost a month to remember the songs and moves! I’m so proud of each and every one of the kids that attended VBS this year, and I can’t wait to be a part of it next year!
