There have been so many newborns on the blog lately! And I’m loving it! There is something so natural and pure about these little ones in their first few days of life. The majority of newborns that I have had the pleasure of photographing have been between 7-10 days new. I feel so lucky to have had this as during this time newborns are still very sleepy and curly! They don’t mind me moving them around from pose to pose while they rest in dreamland!
Baby Sophie was no exception! Once she finished with her feed and was soothed for a short while the session went beautifully! Her older brother James, however, wanted to take part in the session! It was the cutest thing. James would come and sit next to his Dad watching over Sophie, and then he would come and sit beside me to get a better look, and then he would lean where Sophie was laying – he did anything to be a part of his sisters newborn session! He is definitely going to be a wonderful big brother! Sophie is very lucky!

I just love how peaceful Sophie looks! Such a beautiful family!
