There is something about Wednesdays. It’s not quite the weekend yet, but we’re no longer at the beginning of the week. And on Wednesdays I feel as if celebratory coffee and extra sleep should be mandatory! Does anyone else feel this way?
Well, this Wednesday is different! Today marks the first day of the Whole30 challenge for Randy and I. For those of you that aren’t familiar, the Whole30 is a program (not a diet!) that changes your relationship with food, getting rid of all “sugar dragons” – you know that 3:00 slump at the office when all you need is a piece of chocolate to help you get through those last few hours, and helps you be more in tune with what your body needs rather then what we want – a.k.a junk food. Now, don’t get me wrong, Randy and I aren’t junk food fanatics but with Randy training for his fire-fighter program, I thought this would be the perfect time to start! Plus the 30 days allows us to still have a few Halloween treats on the 31st! But, who knows, maybe we won’t even want them by then! That’s the goal! Have any of you done the Whole30? Any tips for success!? Let me know!
Oh and because you are all so great! Here’s a sneak peak of what’s coming to the blog tomorrow! Seriously, it’s another good one! I’m convinced my families are models and they just aren’t telling me!
